Each piece begins with a moment or an image that stayed with you.

I return to that same moment and recreate it through the same process, so the final work stays very close in feeling and composition, while still forming naturally as a painting.

Each piece is made to order, and finished as an original work in its own right.

These works are created at a large scale, typically around 100 × 180 cm, as the size is essential to the sense of movement and presence in the painting.
